For Epson POS printers, the default password for the 'WebConfig access' has been changed. To increase security from the latest firmware version 40.52, the serial number of the device is now the password that must be used to access the web configuration of the device. The ID 'epson' is unchanged.

Password: serial number of the device
This security change applies to all Epson POS printers with an Ethernet and / or WLAN interface, such as the TM-T88VI or the TM-m30.
