The Datalogic Gryphon GD4500 1D/2D is the latest generation of top class barcode scanners from Datalogic, equipped with a megapixel sensor for the best performance. The Gryphon GD4500 High Density 1D/2D is perfect for handheld use as well as for handsfree use and reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes, including the smaller condensed barcodes. The Gryphon GD4500 1D/2D projects a Green Spot, a large green dot on the barcode just scanned when it is properly decoded.

The Gryphon GD4500 1D/2D is equipped with a clearly visible 4-dot aimer with a laser cross in the middle. The 4-dot aimer indicates exactly the reading zone and with the laser cross of the aimer a specific barcode can be scanned in a situation with multiple barcodes. The white lighting of the Datalogic Gryphon GD4500 1D/2D ensures that coloured labels are better readable. Moreover, the white light is more comfortable for the human eye.

The Base models of the Gryphon GD4500 1D/2D are equipped with a solid adjustable base, making it ideal for handsfree use and also easy to use as handheld.

USB-kit:	The USB-kit contains the Datalogic Gryphon GD4500 High Density 1D/2D barcode scanner and a straight USB connection cable. This set is mostly used when you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop. With the USB-kit, the scanner gets its power from the USB port to which it is connected.
Scanner without cable:	When you order the Datalogic Gryphon GD4500 High Density 1D/2D as a 'Scanner without cable', you will receive the scanner without a connection cable. With this option you can put together your own set.
