The Datalogic PowerScan PM9100 Linear Imager is the latest generation of robust 1D scanners, with the same features as a Laser scanner combined with the benefits of an Imager, such as reading barcodes from computer screens, tablets and smartphones. The green 'Laser-like' reading line is much more comfortable and less dangerous for the user's eyes than the red Laser light. In addition, the PowerScan PM9100 does not have moving parts such as a Laser scanner, which greatly improves its robustness.
In addition to an acoustic signal, the Datalogic PowerScan PM9100 Linear Imager gives multiple visual signals when reading barcodes properly. In addition, the PowerScan PM9100 Linear Imager projects a 'Green spot' onto the barcode just read when it has been properly decoded.
The PowerScan PM9100 Linear Imager is a barcode scanner with 433MHz wireless technology and combines all the features and possibilities of the PowerScan 9100 series of barcode scanners with maximum freedom of movement without the hindrance of cables. The wireless range of the PM9100 Linear Imager is 50 to 100 meters. The Powerscan PM9100 Linear Imager also has a quickly exchangeable battery, which means that it can be used continuously.
The PowerScan PM9100-D Linear Imager has a display for 6 lines of 21 characters and a keyboard with 4 freely programmable keys. When two-way communication is used, instructions or messages can be shown on the display, for example for 'order picking' or inventory.
The Datalogic PowerScan PM9100-433RB kit comes standard with a BC9030-433 base station and charger, which provides communication with the computer or host and also serves as a charging station for the PowerScan PM9100 barcode scanner. A maximum of 32 Powerscan PM9100 barcode scanners can communicate via the base station simultaneously. The kit is optionally supplied with a USB or RS-232 connection cable.
