The RBP-9000 is a battery that has a locking mechanism that allows the battery to be changed quickly and easily. Most PowerScan barcode scanners are equipped with the RBP-9000 battery.
The FBP-9000 is a battery that has a screw mounting that secures it in the barcode scanner. This makes it less easy to replace, but better suited for the most rugged conditions.
