The Zebra RS5100 is a robust wearable Bluetooth barcode scanner for 1D and 2D barcodes. The RS5100 weighs just 70 grams and is worn on just 1 finger and is designed for use in demanding environments in the warehouse and production floor. But due to its compact design, the RS5100 ring scanner is also suitable for use in retail and in the field service.
The RS5100 is available with various trigger options, scan engines and removable, swappable batteries with multiple capacities. The standard battery comes with a capacity of 480mAh and the extended battery has a capacity of 735mAh. The SE4710 scan engine has an LED dot aimer and is suitable for high volume scanning. The SE4770 scan engine has a laser aimer and is suitable for scanning situations where superior motion tolerance for scanning with the highest performance is required.
The built-in NFC tag of the RS5100 ring scanner simplifies the linking process with other NFC devices such as the Zebra WT6000, TC52 and TC57. In addition, the RS5100 ring scanner can be paired over Bluetooth to other devices such as mobile computers and tablets.
