The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9100 Linear Imager is the latest generation of robust 1D scanners, with the same features as a laserscanner combined with the advantages of an imager, such as reading barcodes from computer screens, tablets and smartphones. The green 'Laser-like' reading line is much more comfortable and less dangerous to the eyes of the user than the red Laser light. In addition, the PowerScan PBT9100 does not have moving parts such as a Laser scanner, which greatly benefits the robustness.
In addition to an acoustic signal, the Datalogic PowerScan PBT9100 Linear Imager provides multiple visual signals when reading bar codes correctly. In addition, the PowerScan PBT9100 Linear Imager projects a 'Green spot' on the just read barcode when it is properly decoded.
The PowerScan PBT9100 Linear Imager is a barcode scanner with Bluetooth wireless technology and combines all the features and possibilities of the PowerScan 9100 series barcode scanners with maximum freedom of movement without the impediments of cables. The PowerScan PBT9100 also has a quick-change battery so that it can be used continuously.
The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9100 barcode scanner comes without a base station. The Powerscan PBT9100 Linear Imager can be connected to a Datalogic BC9030, BC9130, BC9160 or BC9180 Bluetooth base station. The base station must be ordered separately (see 'Accessories' below).
