The Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 2D DPM Evo is the latest generation of robust 2D imagers, specially designed for Direct Part Marking (DPM) technology. With Direct Part Marking technology, barcodes are applied directly to products by laser, engraving, etching or inkjet printing instead of labels. The PowerScan PD9531 DPM Evo is an industrial barcode scanner with High Density optics, designed for reading Direct Part Marking barcodes. In addition, the PD9531 DPM Evo also reads barcodes printed on labels.
In addition to an acoustic signal, the Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 2D DPM Evo provides multiple visual signals when reading bar codes correctly. In addition, the PowerScan PD9531 2D DPM Evo projects a 'Green spot' on the just read barcode when it is properly decoded.

| USB-kit: | The USB-kit includes the Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 2D DPM Evo barcode scanner and a coiled industrial USB connection cable. This set is most commonly used when you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop.
With the USB-kit, the scanner gets its power from the USB port to which it is connected. |
| RS232-kit: | The RS232-kit includes the Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 2D DPM Evo barcode scanner and a coiled industrial RS-232 connection cable. This set is used for serial communication or when you want to connect the scanner to a PLC or machine.
If the RS-232 port to which the scanner is connected does not supply power, then you also need a power supply (see 'Accessories' below). |
