The Zebra ZD421 printer is the latest version of the Zebra desktop series and is the successor of the popular ZD420 and GK420 series. With the ZD421 printers, it is possible to add options to the printer afterwards, such as an ethernet or serial interface, or a label dispenser or cutter mechanism. This makes the ZD421 printer fully suitable for every application.
The ZD421d printers can only print thermal labels and are therefore priced cheaper. Thermal labels are ideal for address and shipping labels.

| Interfaces: | The Zebra ZD421 printer comes standard with a USB 2.0 interface, a USB Host interface and with Bluetooth LE. Optionally, the ZD421 is also available with an 802.11ac Wi-Fi interface and with MFi certified Bluetooth v4.1 (compatible with Apple iOS devices). |
| Print resolution: | The ZD421 printer is available with a 203dpi or 300dpi printhead. The 203dpi version is suitable for printing text and barcodes, the 300dpi version for text, barcodes and graphic information such as logos and symbols. |
