The Datalogic PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D barcode scanner is the latest generation of rugged industrial wireless 1D/2D barcode scanners, the perfect device for warehouses, logistics centres and industries that depend on speed, flexibility and reliability in managing goods. The PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D is particularly user-friendly due to the ergonomic shape of the handle, the well-balanced weight distribution and the intuitive aiming system, which reduces wrist movements to a minimum. In addition, the PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D uses pulsed white illumination that is very gentle on the user's eyes and less stressful in scan-intensive applications.
The PowerScan 9600 series features a contactless charging system. Non-contact charging prevents battery contact points and pins from getting dirty, bending or breaking over time. This eliminates a major reason for failure for heavily used devices.
The PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D is a barcode scanner with 433MHz wireless technology, combining the features and capabilities of the PowerScan 9600 series barcode scanners with maximum flexibility without the hindrance of cables. The PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D also features an easily swappable battery, allowing it to be deployed without interruption.
The Datalogic PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D barcode scanner comes without a base station. The PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D can be connected to a Datalogic BC9600, BC9620, BC9630, BC9631 or BC9680 433MHz base station. This must be ordered separately (see ‘Accessories’ below).
Optionally, the Datalogic PowerScan PM9600 1D/2D is also available as a complete set, including base station, power adapter and cables (see ‘Related items’ below).
