The Zebra RS2100 is an ultra lightweight wireless barcode scanner that weighs only 31 grams. When employees have to scan thousands of items per day, comfort is very important. The RS2100 is worn on the back of the hand by means of an adjustable hand strap that leaves the palm free. The user is therefore able to handle items unimpeded. In addition, the user does not have to repeatedly make the same movements by picking up and putting down a barcode scanner that seems to become increasingly heavy after several hours of work. Moreover, no time is lost in picking up and putting down a barcode scanner which increases productivity. The hand strap features a trigger button that activates the Zebra RS2100 and is adjustable for any size hand, the choice is limited to left and right hand.
The Zebra RS2100 reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes, the user can choose a visible LED light, as well as an audible beep or vibration signal as feedback when a barcode has been properly scanned. The scanner features a SE4770 scanning engine and has a scanning range of 3 to 92 cm.
The RS2100 scanner is easily and quickly linked to a mobile computer via NFC, making it easy to integrate into existing systems.
