Designed for fixed installation, the Zebra DS5502 barcode scanner effortlessly scans all 1D and 2D barcodes from paper, labels, tickets, passes, travel documents or screens such as from mobile phones.
Using the screw holes on the bottom of the Zebra DS55 barcode scanner, it is easy to mount it in any location, for example above a conveyor belt, in an information column or above a workbench. Various hands-free stands are also available (see ‘Accessories’ below).

| USB-kit: | The USB kit includes the Zebra DS55 barcode scanner and a straight USB connection cable. This set is most commonly used when you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop.
With the USB kit, the scanner receives the power from the USB port to which it is connected. |
| RS232-kit: | The RS232 kit includes the Zebra DS55 barcode scanner and a straight serial RS-232 connection cable. This set is used for serial communication or when you want to connect the scanner to a PLC or machine.
With the RS232 kit, the scanner receives its power from power adapter which is included in the kit. |
| Scanner without cable: | When you order the Zebra DS55 as a 'Scanner without cable', you will receive the scanner without a connection cable. With this option you can put together your own set or replace a faulty one. |
