The Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 Linear Imager is the latest generation of robust 1D scanners, with the same features as a Laser scanner combined with the advantages of an Imager, such as reading barcodes from computer screens, tablets and smartphones. The green 'Laser-like' reading line is much more comfortable and less dangerous to the eyes of the user than the red Laser light. In addition, the PowerScan PD9130 does not have moving parts such as a Laser scanner, which greatly benefits the robustness.
In addition to an acoustic signal, the Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 Linear Imager provides multiple visual signals when reading bar codes correctly. In addition, the PowerScan PD9130 Linear Imager projects a 'Green spot' on the just read barcode when it is properly decoded.

| USB-kit: | The USB-kit includes the Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 barcode scanner and a coiled industrial USB connection cable. This set is most commonly used when you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop.
With the USB-kit, the scanner gets its power from the USB port to which it is connected. |
| RS232-kit: | The RS232-kit includes the Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 barcode scanner and a coiled industrial RS-232 connection cable. This set is used for serial communication or when you want to connect the scanner to a PLC or machine.
If the RS-232 port to which the scanner is connected does not supply power, then you also need a power supply (see 'Accessories' below). |
