| USB-kit: | The USB kit includes the DS8178 wireless scanner, the base station and a USB-cable. This kit is most commonly used if you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop.
With the USB kit, the base station gets its power from the USB port to which it is connected. |
| Scanner separate: | The ‘Scanner separate’ contains only the DS8178 wireless barcode scanner. A base station or micro USB-charging cable must be ordered separately (see ‘ Accessories’ below). |
